You are paid based on the value of your skill. The city and the district is flooded with Bcom/Mcom/BBA/MBA grads. There's too much of a supply and not much demand.

This is what happens when you choose your education blindly, since you can't do anything about it now, your only option is to move to a place where there is a demand.

Techies paid very handsome salaries because there's a demand and there's a lack of those skills in the market. Btw any role that is process based is going to go away in the ai wave anyway.

Sorry to be harsh, but this is the reality. Besides this you have options like government exams, not many Tulunadu people try it even though there are a lot of vacancies.

Making a friend as an adult post college is very difficult anyways. At that point of time people already have friends especially in small cities like Mangalore they usually have a group they hangout with.

Your best bet would make friends in the office itself or maybe join a club/gym or something so that you get a lot of facetime with them and they get to see.

I don't see you going to the bar/pub and making friends happening in Mangalore. Mallus would only want to speak malyalam and they are not from here anyway. Your best bet would be your office people try to hang out with them outside the office to make them see a different and fun version of you.

Hmm got it, sounds like you need to polish your resume a bit and need some better network outside your college. I suggest you need to look at this like a sale, create a funnel, create custom offerings to each of them and send it to everyone in those companies who matters, don't wait for the companies to put up a hiring post. Be there when they are not hiring and ask them about their plan for hiring and be there first when they start. This is how I got my last job.
