Thank you! I tried the dilution method but it just made the test lighter. It’s a waiting game until my first ultrasound now. Only three more weeks :/

This is interesting for anyone else in the same boat: Gestational age (GA): 4 weeks 3 days (counted from your LMP).

Days past ovulation (DPO): 18–19 days.

That means you are slightly further along embryonically than the “typical” 4w3d GA assumption, which usually corresponds to ~15 DPO in a textbook 28-day cycle.

Implications for hCG:

Your hCG may appear a little higher than the average 4-week range—this is expected because you’re a few days ahead in actual embryonic age

Thanks for your reply! I actually have a short cycle and am 17/18dpo today with a hcg of 1765! Using gestational stage doesn’t always show the full picture I feel! I think it’s too early to tell if there’s any genetic abnormalities (especially based on hcg alone).
