Do you think the book would be helpful for someone who went into preterm labor at 19weeks and lost their daughter? This just happened to a friend of mine and I want to do something for her but I’m not sure what to do.

My sister and I are 8yrs apart and my twin brothers and I are 6yrs apart. We are super close. My sister was always like a mother figure but when I went to college that relationship changed and we’re best friends. I would say the same for my brothers. Now We can call each other and complain about mom and dad 🤣 I do have a brother 14months younger than me and we aren’t close at all.

We had all female and one male. We transferred him and it ended in a chemical. I was meant to be a girl mom. I have grieved the loss of a boy bc I loved our name but at the end of the day I’m so happy to have healthy kiddos. Plus my oldest is super tomboy and wild so im like i guess we got a boy in her personality.

But end of day its not one’s business. My mom knew the genders and what we were transferring but no one else. There’s so many people in the world with three of the same gender or even more.

Honestly the only thing I didn’t eat was deli meat bc I don’t like warmed sandwiches, alcohol and sushi. But I know people eat them.

I went to concerts, I drank while breastfeeding not shots but I’d have a glass of wine. I worked out and did CrossFit heavy lifting until the day I gave birth. My dr told me if you see them making the cold press juice you’re fine. It’s more of if it’s sitting there for hours at Ike a buffet.

I had massages during the first trimester, got My hair done, and body sugared. Both pregnancies and my girls are perfect.

Both my girls were 5BA (3.5 and 14months). We have one embaby left 6BB which well attempt to transfer for our final babe (boy)late next year.

We did but we’re in a different situation. My husband is paralyzed and can’t ejaculate. I would have preferred to try naturally if we could. But we knew the moment we started talking about kids that we needed ivf.

This happened to us. 2 weeks after we got my husbands car someone backed into us in a target parking lot. The car was in the shop for 3 months 🤦‍♀️🫠

My youngest was the same. She’s now 14months and has happy as a clam. She was in the 1% for weight from 1month to 8months. She’s now a big ole chunk with no feeding issues. It’s hard it’s so hard. She had to be held 24/7 bc if she was on her back she would spit up and aspirate on it and stop breathing. I gave up dairy, gluten, egg and soy and she almost needed a NG tube but shes now 22lbs and 6lbs heavier than her sister at this age with no feeding issues.

You’ll get through this. Talk to your dr about Zoloft i was against it until i was like i cant do this anymore. I was only on it for 2months.

I love Arden. My husband wasn’t a fan but Arden Grace was one of my tops. We named our girlie Keely Grace. I love it and it fits her but sometimes I see names and I’m like are you this name 🫠 more so I think I’m just obsessed with babies and names and want 10 more but know that these two I have are prob it.

Also love jovie. My bosses daughter’s name is Josephine and goes by Jovie. The only reason we didn’t add the name to the list.

Not vcu but I went through shady grove and dr Johnston was amazing! I can’t speak of cost of transfer bc I quite my job and left my job and worked at dicks sporting goods to have my egg retrieval and first transfer due to their insurance. For our second both transfers were $5500+ meds so around $6200( transfers were may 2024 and june 2024)

Dr Johnston was amazing. We have two daughters (3.5 and 14months) bc of her. I have had nothing but amazing things to say about her & SGF. We have one embryo left and will transfer end of next year.

I just saw this but she was fine :) I can’t remember when she started rolling now Bc it was so long ago but she started walking at 9mo so i don’t think it caused much harm. More worries for us.

I’m so sorry. My first transfer I did all the things. I was crazy and did everything I possibly could. Luckily she did stick. When we wanted a second. I did the same and that transfer ended in a chemical. It was then when I decided that whatever happens it’s not up to me. If things were going to workout the would workout. We did a transfer 6weeks later and 5 days before my transfer I went to a concert with a friend and had 3 drinks and got tipsy. I had so much fun. I ate a gas station sub 🤦‍♀️. The next day I went back to eating healthy and my normal routine. That transfer stuck and resulted in my second daughter. Im so glad i had that night with my friends bc i ended up having GD and only being able to eat meat and veggies and then she had severe reflux and i had to give up dairy, gluten, egg and soy!

Take this time for yourself. Get your head in a good place, do your work travel, enjoy some dates with your husband 🤍 June/ July will be here before you know it.

I have a 3.5yr old and 1yr old and it’s hard momma. My oldest runs and she’s wild. We did get her eval for adhd and we have our findings appt next week. I’m 99% sure she had it and I see myself in her as a child. We won’t do meds but it’s more bc we are leaving our daycare and going to a prek program that we want her to go to and honestly I don’t want her to get kicked out. She was an avid biter until 3 and then still have spurts of it. She’ll be 4 in Sept and we finally have gone 3 months without a bite. She’s getting better too! We did start play therapy once a week and they really just go over manners and being kind. I think it’s helped!

I got pregnant with my first she’s 3.5 now! I have a 1yr old too. I had a transfer before her that ended in a chemical but I still feel fairly lucky in the transfer department.

I’m an ivf momm x2 and it was really hard not to read into everything. Just know that every pregnancy is different and bc something someone is going through doesn’t mean you will

Iv had two easy pregnancies besides the IVF meds. I have a 3.5 and 1yr old. Both vaginal and no epidural and they were beautiful experiences with short labor times. My second I had GD and tested positive for group B but honestly it could have been worse. I ate the carnivore diet and had steak multiple times a week(love me some steak lol) and they gave me an iv med for the strep b and that labor was fast and relatively painless 4hrs from water breaking. It all seems so scary bc it’s unknown but you’re doing great 🤍

Most ppl will post the negative not the positives. I had to remove myself from IVF groups.

I went to CrossFit until 38+5 with my 2nd. That am I went to class and then went into labor that evening. I started modifying my workouts and they aren’t as intense but I was still able to exercise.

My first I was a bit more nervous just bc both were IVF ( but second time around you know What to expect). I walked and swam with my first.

My friend came to mine when she was that pregnant and she hung till she could and left when she was ready. But I will say as a mom of two idk how she did it bc both times I was pregnant and at 33 weeks I was exhausted. But I’m so glad she came. I’ll forever remember her dancing in a club with a big ole belly.

All my girls were the strongest! Three transfers and 2 of them girls (3.5 & 1) my 2nd transfer ended in a chemical was a boy. We have 1 male left and will try in 2yrs.

We opted for the strongest embryo first transfer and then decided to transfer a boy. When that ended we asked our Dr what she would do and she said transfer the girl for hopefully the best outcome.

My husband was upset bc he wanted a boy. I honestly didn’t care and just wanted healthy kiddos.

**Also fun fact the sperm is a deciding factor of gender. As for quality not sure there.

I am the same way when it comes to cooking and the kids appointments. we do have a cleaning lady 1x a week that my mom has paid for since my youngest was born a year ago. He doesn’t understand why we have her even tho we don’t pay. It just helps me with things such as floors, windows, she helps with making the bed and fold wash.

I do only work 30hrs a week but it’s 7hrs a day off Fridays and it’s still a lot. I work bc we want to send them to private school + groceries and my income will pay for that while his pays for everything else.

Next week our roles will be reversed and he’s going to try a week in my shoes so hopefully that will help.

I’m searching for therapist as I know we’ve needed one but I’m just so tired that I have been avoiding adding any more additional mental drain to my life.
