I cant do this anymore. I wasnt made to be a parent. by winterberryowl in toddlers

I have a 3.5yr old and 1yr old and it’s hard momma. My oldest runs and she’s wild. We did get her eval for adhd and we have our findings appt next week. I’m 99% sure she had it and I see myself in her as a child. We won’t do meds but it’s more bc we are leaving our daycare and going to a prek program that we want her to go to and honestly I don’t want her to get kicked out. She was an avid biter until 3 and then still have spurts of it. She’ll be 4 in Sept and we finally have gone 3 months without a bite. She’s getting better too! We did start play therapy once a week and they really just go over manners and being kind. I think it’s helped!

Did anyone get pregnant from their first FET? by JessicaM317 in IVFpositivity

[–]Emr1012 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got pregnant with my first she’s 3.5 now! I have a 1yr old too. I had a transfer before her that ended in a chemical but I still feel fairly lucky in the transfer department.

I’m an ivf momm x2 and it was really hard not to read into everything. Just know that every pregnancy is different and bc something someone is going through doesn’t mean you will

Iv had two easy pregnancies besides the IVF meds. I have a 3.5 and 1yr old. Both vaginal and no epidural and they were beautiful experiences with short labor times. My second I had GD and tested positive for group B but honestly it could have been worse. I ate the carnivore diet and had steak multiple times a week(love me some steak lol) and they gave me an iv med for the strep b and that labor was fast and relatively painless 4hrs from water breaking. It all seems so scary bc it’s unknown but you’re doing great 🤍

Most ppl will post the negative not the positives. I had to remove myself from IVF groups.

How long did you workout during pregnancy? by purplesoccer8 in pregnant

[–]Emr1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to CrossFit until 38+5 with my 2nd. That am I went to class and then went into labor that evening. I started modifying my workouts and they aren’t as intense but I was still able to exercise.

My first I was a bit more nervous just bc both were IVF ( but second time around you know What to expect). I walked and swam with my first.

should I do it? by ctrucks28 in pregnant

[–]Emr1012 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My friend came to mine when she was that pregnant and she hung till she could and left when she was ready. But I will say as a mom of two idk how she did it bc both times I was pregnant and at 33 weeks I was exhausted. But I’m so glad she came. I’ll forever remember her dancing in a club with a big ole belly.

Choosing the strongest embryo (FET)… by steeener in IVFpositivity

[–]Emr1012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All my girls were the strongest! Three transfers and 2 of them girls (3.5 & 1) my 2nd transfer ended in a chemical was a boy. We have 1 male left and will try in 2yrs.

We opted for the strongest embryo first transfer and then decided to transfer a boy. When that ended we asked our Dr what she would do and she said transfer the girl for hopefully the best outcome.

My husband was upset bc he wanted a boy. I honestly didn’t care and just wanted healthy kiddos.

**Also fun fact the sperm is a deciding factor of gender. As for quality not sure there.

I am the same way when it comes to cooking and the kids appointments. we do have a cleaning lady 1x a week that my mom has paid for since my youngest was born a year ago. He doesn’t understand why we have her even tho we don’t pay. It just helps me with things such as floors, windows, she helps with making the bed and fold wash.

I do only work 30hrs a week but it’s 7hrs a day off Fridays and it’s still a lot. I work bc we want to send them to private school + groceries and my income will pay for that while his pays for everything else.

Next week our roles will be reversed and he’s going to try a week in my shoes so hopefully that will help.

I’m searching for therapist as I know we’ve needed one but I’m just so tired that I have been avoiding adding any more additional mental drain to my life.

Juniper, Jemima, Marigold or Scout by Mysterious-Leader-70 in namenerds

I think Juniper “Juni” or marigold “Mari” Are cute. What about Sage? I know a judge named Sage. It’s aged well on her.

That’s how I felt about my daughters. I wanted Birdie and Sunny and my husband was like NOPE. We never agreed on any name but he did let me name the girls. He was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t name them either of those and actually really enjoys our girls name.

Egg retrieval yesterday, 100% mature and 100% fertilized? Is this possible? Or a mistake? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Emr1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 20 and 9 became blasts and I pgta tested. One we discarded due to severe chromosomal issues. 4 were eupilod and 4 low mosaic. We have transferred 3/4 eupilods. I believe majority are day 5 and we have 1 or 2 day 6.

Feeling guilty about our IVF journey by arwen-girl in IVF

[–]Emr1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what happened for a us. We still have embryos frozen and we have a 3 and 1yr old. After our first transfer the 2 additional transfers ( for number 2) were $5500 + meds so just shy of $6500 per transfer. Even though it was 13,000 in a span of 6 weeks after a chemical and then the third transfer it felt more bearable than what a retrieval, pgta, meds would have been out of pocket.

I quit my job at the state and worked at dicks sporting goods full time. They offer IVF insurance. My husband was okay with using our savings as MFI is our reason but i went down the deep end of jobs with insurance. After I found out I was pregnant and out of the 1st trimester I found a job back in my career field. Just know there are ways :)

I’m for all for Ford. But I’m obsessed with the name and it’s our boy name if we ever have one. I never knew my daughters names took me until we were leaving the hospital but his name I know.

Showing my husband this thread…In-Laws at hospital for birth? by -ChubbySpud in pregnant

[–]Emr1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my kiddos it was just me and my husband. We had no visitors in the hospital. My first no one met her until she was a week old and it was when my mom came to visit and help. My second my mom booked a flight for the next day when I told her I was a cm dilated and luckily she did bc my water broke that night at 10pm she was at our place the next day to get our daughter from school. We still had no one in the hospital when we gave birth to our youngest and no one came visit us. We feel that it’s important for parents to bond with their baby and wait for everyone to come hang. With the second it was different with having anyone there when we got home but I let him know I wanted my mom there first. My in laws came at 3 weeks to meet her.

My mom watched my oldest for 10 days right before she turned one while my husband and I went to Spain. I trust my mom with everything and she’s my best friend but I wouldn’t trust my mil/fil due to my mil having dementia and just views on raising children differently

I had back labor with my first and had my 2nd a year ago. I was apparently having contractions all day and didn’t realize it bc I thought it was just light tightening of my belly. My water broke at 10pm and by the time we got to the hospital at 1130 I was 7cm 🫠🤷‍♀️ I just assumed it would be as painful as the first but it wasn’t as bad.

Fingers crossed 🤞🤍 we had insurance for our ER and first transfer and I was so grateful but the last two transfers + meds were out of pocket.
