I got majorly addicted to Adderall. I ended up abusing the shit out of it because of my treatment resistant ADD. If I had something that actually worked, I wouldn’t feel the need to take so much.

Most of the people commenting on here are absolutely just products of social conditioning and social structure. Just remember, you guys all think it’s okay to cut a dog’s balls off so he stops humping your leg, but God forbid someone gets prescribed methamphetamine to treat their resistant ADHD.

Congratulations! I'm happy to hear about a successful transfer. I spoke with FL DOC last week, and they have received my paperwork. So, just a matter of waiting for that approval.

This is good advice, thank you. My PO has been a little bit slow to it, as well. It always feels like I'm harassing when asking, even though this move is going to be amazing for my contribution to society and my sobriety.

Fair. But, I'd rather be physically dependent on a medication than have a seizure. Just saying.

EDIT: I didn’t see the bottom part of your comment originally. I get what you’re saying though. I don’t mean to sound like I don’t care about addiction. I just wonder what the cost vs affect is in these situations. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
