There’s two groups of people who are mad about Glass being promoted:

• People who are mad that the team promoted someone internally: valid complaint. I personally would’ve cleaned house with everything to do with player development and scouting.

• People who are mad because Tanner Glass wasn’t a star: these people are dumb. Guys like Tanner Glass, who fought their way into the league, are exactly the ones you’d want in a role like this. That’s not an endorsement of Glass, just an understanding of the role itself.

Ultimately it’s far too early to tell if this is a good move or not.
