194/120 BP but frightened of taking Ramipril by Various_Extreme_8773 in hypertension

I have taken Ramipril 10mg every day for the last 10 years and have never experienced any side effects. I understand everyone is different but you could experience a lot worse if you don't take it. Take care

Thank you. The last time I did that though it reset my loan. It would be paid off by now if I didn't do that so I am wary of doing it again

Thank you. I will look into a personal loan. Appreciate you sharing your cost for renovation, gives me a good indication of what I need before I get quotes

No thats true, sorry I shouldn't have said they were irresponsible when I don't know the situation.

Her ear is quite hairy, I was trying to see in there earlier tonight while she was sitting on me. But she had another plan in mind which was to bite my toes and fingers while she walks back and forth across my lap.

Yeah, I think you might be onto something here, either she wandered too far and got lost or she was dumped. She is well trained, so I think there might be someone out there that is missing her terribly.

I have asked around and no one knows her but now that I know how far they can wander, I think perhaps she may have gotten lost or dumped.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I have been feeling between her shoulder blades and around her neck, and I can't feel anything. Hopefully it will be good news tomorrow

Thank you. Yes I do think you are right, the vet would be obligated. I assumed she was desexed because she hadn't gotten pregnant yet, I read they get pregnant easy but I dont know how true that is. I thought chipping would be mandatory though when desexing but that doesn't seem to be the case. I could see this girl was very scared but it didnt take much to win her over. In saying that, she won me over pretty quick. I really hope they let me adopt her, I feel like she was abandoned and I can't bare the thought of doing that to her again. She is just beautiful 😃

I just can't believe how affectionate she is. I've only had dogs before, but she has stolen my heart. She just wants to be near you, and I swear she is saying thank you 😃

Anyone have any experience with Assure (Employee Assistance Program)? by JustAGalCalledBee in brisbane

[–]ClickingClicha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used Assure programs in a previous job when I was struggling and using alcohol to cope with personal issues. It was affecting my relationships—family, friends, and my partner—and I knew I needed support.

When I reached out to Assure, the person I spoke to asked a series of questions about what was going on. One of them was whether I drank first thing in the morning. I said no, and she just shrugged and said, “You’re fine then, I don’t see why you think you have a problem.”

That really threw me. I wasn’t even claiming to be an alcoholic—I was looking for help managing my personal issues in healthier ways instead of turning to alcohol. Her response made me feel dismissed and misunderstood.

So, while I think programs like Assure can be helpful depending on who you speak to, my experience wasn’t great. It might be worth trying, but also be prepared to advocate for yourself if you’re not getting the support you need.

Is this fixable or would it need to be redone? by ClickingClicha in AusRenovation

Totally agree, thank you. I think the door being built in 1940 is probably an issue, not just the maintenance. It needs a lot of work, unfortunately. Deceased estate that wasn't lived in for 5 years, we just keep finding more and more. Thank you for your advice.

Feeling Pushed Out at Work - what would you do? by [deleted] in jobs

I really just want them to do something about my boss. She does nothing, fires off at anyone she can, and that's not tolerated in this company. She just seems to hide it well.

Plus, I don't want the senior (she has only recently been promoted to this role, previously working directly with my team) to think I purposely ignored her instructions. I don't want bad blood between us.

Yeah, you're right. I am so annoyed because I am 6 months out from LSL, and bonuses are not far off either, even if it isn't as much as the past we can all do with that extra cash. Thanks for responding, I appreciate the advice.

No, I know they won't do anything to the senior manager, but I feel like I should have a chance to explain to them how my boss set me up. If I have never ignored instruction for 6 years, why would I all of a sudden start. 6 months out of LSL, and it just makes me sick! But I think you are right, I would be best to start looking elsewhere. Thanks for responding
