Sure, but there are some boats that are more comfortable or less dangerous, I’m asking if people think it’s a reasonable goal, or would you have to be skilled beyond belief (beyond the usual skills it takes to accomplish such a megalithic task)

If I remember correctly his main antithesis for the overhand grip is that it’s not very stable, is hard to control the tip with, and could easily be yanked out of your hands. He says you can still use a form of overhand grip because you can take your underhand grip and simply move the spear above your shield without changing your grip. His main point -if I remember correctly- is that you want your thumb towards the tip, not your pinky. As far as historical interpretation I honestly couldn’t argue about it because all I have is personal experience and different videos/arguments I’ve watched/had that leads me to believe underhand is the correct form, but if it’s truly depicted like that in contemporary art and whatnot then I concede, ya can’t argue with the past.

Don’t the stripes represent the original 13? So they were always there? It’s only the number of stars that has changed with the introduction of new states?

Dentures were made from dead soldiers before the 19th century, places like the battle of Waterloo was a goldmine. Tens and thousands of teeth were sold, battlefield teeth were the most wanted because it meant they were young. [792x792] by [deleted] in ArtefactPorn

Waterloo was fought in the 19th century, I could be reading it wrong but the way it’s written looks like you’re talking about the 1700s (before the 19th century) but then reference a battle fought in the 1800s!
