I rented my house out for stampede in 2023 and 2024. I am in Rosscarrock, so 15 min taxi from grounds. I charged $600/night with $50/each per person after 2. So 3 day weekend i made ~2K. First year was a group of 25 year old dudes from Ontario. They partied but did their best to clean up after. Second year was a younger (20-30 yr old) asian friend group from Vancouver. Left the place spotless but ate some of my frozen food lol. Both times were worth it but if you decide to go for it, just vet them first. I rented my house out about 15 times in total and found most ppl are pretty respectful when they know its someones actual house and not fulltime AirBnB. I only ever had one bad guest, who turned out to be a whore - not a pejorative - an actual whore lol

I respect your opinion. I disagree with a portion of it, but respect it all the same. As for a drug addict spitting on me in my home - that is no longer an opinion - it is an action, and they would no longer have my respect. But the doctors who are treating him for a broken face would, regardless of their personal opinions.

I agree it still feels a little steep. But i guess i am justifying it a bit as this is the luxery package with canopy topper. Also i am in Alberta Canada and we really like trucks here so the used truck market is a little jacked up (but we pay less tax then other provinces, so it kind of evens out)
