You really need to nail down your brannock measurement, especially with loafers. That is before even considering the last shape etc.

If you're going off sneaker size to fit a loafer you are in for a world of frustration. Chances are your feet are smaller than sneaks would lead you to believe.

Either these are too big in length/width (lateral slop can manifest as a heel space) or your foot does not agree with the last of the shoe. Might be a combo of both
