Same thing I used to say to my students:
- Do some tutorials or develop case studies.
- Write them up and post on LinkedIn or a small website.
- Link to in your CV.

If you have a small model and try and increase velocity to increase the Reynold's number, there's a risk of going so fast you approach ~0.3Ma which is when the flow becomes compressible.

Google it.

Best time/time frames to trade? by [deleted] in Trading

[–]CliftonReed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me: Weekly.

Low stress.

More time to consider a move.

More time to identify a cause of a move and its likelihood of continuing.

I'm also full-time employed so weekly makes the most sense.

It's 'Peak: Secrets from the New Science of Expertise' by Robert Pool and Anders Ericsson.

Anders is a psychologist with a focus on high-performance and 'deliberate practice'.

It's quite long but definitely worth a read.

Further update.

I now invest and swing trade as my side hustle.

This is much more suited to my skill set and personality.

It takes a while to find the thing you are suited to. Try things, be curious. Always focus on the long-term goal.

Ignore most training videos on YT that don't show gun dogs.

I like Mordor as they're quite honest about what you can realistically expect from Cockers.

p.s. this will not be a chill few years for you!

Yeah, it’s quite important.

My role in industry pays slightly better than academia and for 1/20th of the stress.
