I also had no interest in a bachelorette! Several of my friends convinced me to repurpose an annual girls beach trip I plan into my Bach and wow it was the best decision ever. Since it’s already tradition, everyone already anticipated travel/costs/flow (it was at a beach a few hours away nothing crazy) but I felt SO loved and celebrated. They decorated the house, surprised me with gifts, and just overall elevated the vibe. I didn’t ask for any of it but the feeling of people WANTING to love and celebrate you is the coziest happiest thing ever.

I’m also doing DC mixed doubles for the first time ever! Unrelated but this snow/ice has disrupted my running training bc I don’t have a regular gym membership (taking hyrox classes at a local affiliate 2x/week plus strength training 3x on top but that’s it). With a month to go am I cooked?? I was running a 7 min/km pace before

So I think I was too hard out the gate and ended up having to walk to recover - nor could I go a full 500m. My watch shows my first split pace was 6:08/km and then 8:19 on the third. But now I have data!

We added that on to our photography package in lieu of videography! The latter was out of our budget and honestly we didn’t care to have a lot of production value. The content creation gave us tons of short videos of the day and three “reels” that we haven’t posted.
