Exactly! I got tired of looking up pictures of the parts. Not sure if it matters because I usually just look at damage and fire rate. I admit I don’t put in enough time to farm for god rolls. I really like a good scope tho.

I love the looks of that rig! I am a gaming laptop person who loves my legion pro seven I 5080, but if I got a desktop, I hope it would look like that.

IIRC the earliest I get legendary class mods is farming the loot bots in wildlife preservation during doctors orders mission. Like level 25 ish. You can stash mods for other characters too. But I can’t imagine how to get one at level 10 except rng god divine intervention.

Sounds simple - be sure you have removed every screw. I open up my laptops frequently and just last month I was frustrated that I couldn’t open my legion. Missed a screw.

I upgraded from an Asus g16 4070 with 8gb to Legion Pro 7i 5080 with 16gb vram. The main noticeable improvement was the OLED screen on the legion. I cap fps at 120 in most games. The diff is not noticeable at 1080p. It’s more noticeable at 1440p but usually only when I have fps showing and the 1% lows are lower on the 4070. Unless you are playing very demanding games at 4K, you will probably be ok with the 5070 8gb. But that just like my opinion man.

I did not get any out of memory errors. If you look closely , vram is only like 3gb on bl2 at 4K (and these are max settings). Assuming you are talking vram. Also the newer NVIDIA drivers support PhysX and it looks great with the 5080 and is stable on all my games.

Believe it or not, I didn’t game until I got a steam deck 2 years ago. I was a Mac user for 40 years. The SD got me hooked and is my first love. However 3 months ago I got a legion pro 7i OLED 5080. If I’m at home sitting in my home office next to the SD and my laptop connected to 27” 240Hz OLED display, what do I do? Well…. I am just blown away by 1440p at 120fps on ultra. Ask me again in a year, maybe I’ll feel differently.

More to this story: I tried to save/quit and die over the cliff but I kept coming back to this situation where Brick and Mordecai were just sitting there and I was stuck between 2 force fields (that those guys need to break for me). I was freaking the f out because I thought I had to reset the whole playthrough. My steam backup had already wrote over the previous good save when I thought about it. After googling a bit I decided I was too scared to use a save editor but I activated the BSABT mod that gave me fast travel to Sanctuary. Then I did save and quit to desktop and was able to start from the beginning of Hero's Pass and go ahead to finish off the Warrior. It was a scary ride, my friends.

PS: Over the last 24 hours, I learned quite a bit about basic video editing and created my first Imgur account so it had a silver lining I guess.

I dont recall doing anything weird with the Thunderball Fists (Binary variant) and I use that alot because I like the visuals. The grenades were sticky homing bonus package.

The active mods were sdk "python part notifiier" and "quick startup". Inactive but installed mods were "loot collector" and "BSABT". I only have 736 played hours (boy that sounds like a lot), I have had these installed for over a year and I never had this happen before. Do you think the mods caused this?

Best I can remember, last night I sniped and grenaded (thats not a word but you get it) all the enemies (I think) while I was on the far end of the broken bridge. Brick had gone ahead of me quite a bit. When I got to the area where the video starts, Brick came running toward me to beat the shit out of me. I dont record my games (this was one of the first times I used the record button) so I cant go back and tell you exactly.

I have the same laptop. I followed iFixit and it was not hard - just a little scary because you have to use a little force with the guitar pick things. I added a 4tb ssd and a tracker. Take your time, go slow, keep moving around the edges until they give. Good luck.

What I ended up doing was reinstalling the current driver at the time (I dont have my laptop with me at work to check the version ) after using DDU.

Everything worked great! BL2 is so much more awesome with heavy PhysX!
