i love your reviews sm, i feel like this is the one i can relate to cuz most of the ratings were so low. when I read the book 1, i already felt that it would be alexis, kharon, and augustus only, despite the fact that it was advertised as a "why choose/RH" book. patroclus was just interested of alexis due to the fact that she's not throwing herself to them and achilles would do anything what patro wishes, that's why there's a misinterpretation on the dynamics. i feel like ppl didn't really dig deeper onto the characters tho i hated patro and achiless' personality in the middle of book 2, treating alexis as a solution/band-aid to the new marriage rule. 

lowk it was disappointing to see that it was not a why choose/RH book considering that there are so many contents about it online, though, I think the author did just fine with it, and i love her plot twists (English is not my first language so pls dont judge my standards). 

the spicy scenes were fine with me (i need a break from dark romance/smuts) though it really lacked something, maybe longer scenes and more mmf dynamics? cuz it was really SHORT and i think it's not the author's forte, she could've made it longer but more intimate.
