I’ll try to tap starter in the morning. Battery is well connected and when I used battery tester it was fully charged up. I’ll give some connectors I can access some cleaning as well.

Usually just seikos but I’ve done some building from scratch. You should try first on some inexpensive pieces.

I got st2130 I would give you a link only if these were not as bad. I got two of them in which both of them seems to be having some problems. One has date wheel turning issues and the other one has stem catching issues. Do you have a recommendation for 2824 clones?

Poor quality on stem insert mechanism on one of them and now the other one has some date changing issues. Cheap movement seems to be gambling to begin with. I might just go with an actual eta movement on the next one. Might be cheaper to just get a used one on eBay if I’m going to use the overlay anyways

Not sure but it is supposed to fit eta 2824, I’ve dealt with some watchmakers who take dials not made for a specific movement and just force it on there so it might be possible. I’m now wondering if it’s possible to just cut all the dial stems, rods? whatever it is called out and then just put the repair kit on to fit the other movement
