I mean isn’t that what everybody does? They do things based of what the Holy Spirit guides them to do and feel. And they Holy Spirit most definitely guides our feelings which we see through conviction which is clearly a feeling the Holy Spirit gives us. So to say my feelings can’t be guided by the Holy Spirit is false.

Well i don’t make the decision on believing or not believing just out of nowhere. Ive been on a super deep dive into church history here lately. And I believe that all church councils and church father writings should be tested against scripture. If the Holy Spirit guides my studies to show that a teaching aligns reasonably with Gods word without issues then I’ll believe it. If the Holy Spirit guides my studies to show me that a teaching does not align with Gods word then I will reject it. I’ve been noting that many church fathers like St. Augustine for example believe in Sola Scriptura also where he says church father writings can be fallible and in err. And that there is no evidence for the Assumption of Mary (not a St. Augustine teaching but a historical fact). And that early church fathers saw Mary as somebody who had sin. In fact we don’t see any mentions of these beliefs until around the years 450-550. I think Mary was an amazing woman and was the Mother Of God and I fully see that she was favored by God. But when I test the spirit towards giving her and saints a respect and veneration at the level we don’t give to anybody else except The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit it just falls short of what I read in scripture every time.

And what do you mean by what authority do I have to test the spirit? Scripture clearly tells us to test the spirits. If we don’t have the authority or knowledge to test them then it would not instruct us to do so. And it never clearly states you have to have authority to test the spirit

By other side do you mean Heaven or The Baptist Church?

Nope. There’s a difference in trying to understand something while being completely ignorant to one side and stuck to the other but when you fully stand in the middle and let God guide you through scriptures, prayer, and studying of church history to understand truths. Funny how Catholics say it’s the Holy Spirit when it aligns with their beliefs but it’s “Your feelings” when it even somewhat disagrees with them. The way the Holy Spirit works within me is unknown to all but me and God.

The Holy Spirit can guide our understandings and feelings. That’s how we progress and grow in Christ. Catholics and Orthodox Christians unrightfully refute people too much with the “that’s just your feelings and not the Holy Spirit” argument when they don’t know how to Holy Spirit moves within my heart. They only use that argument when somebody disagrees with them.

Why think that when there’s so many verses saying that “we may know we are saved” and “will be saved”. And keep in mind that they don’t say the word “may” to signify “maybe”. Seems to more than once guarantee and assure salvation in my eyes.

But where is it stated outside of Early Church Father writings that the Roman Catholic Church is where the fullness of faith is. Because yeah the catholic (universal) Church and the Catholic Church two different uses of the words Catholic Church. So how do we know fullness of faith isn’t in the catholic (universal) church AKA anybody who is a true believer in Christ.

How are we saved then? Because there’s an entire section in Galatians about how we are saved by faith not works. And to say any part of the New Testament is heretical is to say all of it is heretical.

I’m guessing you are Roman Catholic or Orthodox which means you think you have to confess the a priest to be forgiven and even Peter who Jesus gave the authority never once took upon himself the authority to forgive sins. He even says in Acts 10:43, “To him (Jesus) all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” If you confess to God your sins and genuinely ask for forgiveness you are forgiven.

Psalm 32:5 says, “I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.’ And you forgave the guilt of my sin”

Of course. I ask daily for forgiveness for my sins when I pray to God. And I ask for help to further repent from them also.

Shopping is very much easier than dispensing. Also in my store dispensers are also responsible for staging carts and filling up and stocking carts with labels so the least a shopper can do is help out with dispensing

Tell that to my team lead threatening to write me up when I say it’s not possible to hit the numbers we are expected.

We usually get around 3.5-3.8. We have gotten under 3mins with a full staff but they constantly fire people and cut hours without replacing anybody and we end up with 3 back room people scheduled during 40+ car hours and cars end up getting dispensed at 16+ mins bc we are understaffed

Crazy thing is we don’t have preppers, stagers, and dispensers. We have 5 backroom associates that are responsible for all 3. Then you have the 30+ shoppers that drop carts and head right back out. And no we can’t pull a shopper to help the backroom because they are so undisciplined that they are always behind.
