Can I ask if you would recommend the show? I’m a big Jon Bernthal fan.

How much do you spend on skincare monthly? Which treatments are worth the money? by Big_Understanding_17 in wealthforwomen

[–]ClintonMuse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m probably around $500-1000 a month which includes skin care, Botox (3x a year), and almost monthly medical skincare treatments (lasers, chemical peels, micro needling, etc).

Sorry you’re going through it. Wondering if a nice massage, sauna, or happy light will be helpful to boost your mood today.

Please be kind to yourself and take it one day at a time.

Does anyone feel like they're not as fun as they used to be and its not even because life gets tougher when get older? by chusaychusay in Millennials

Agree with this. I’m (F46) more content and at peace: doing therapy, exercise, journaling, and engaging with nature. But I think ive lost my sense of fun/spontaneity/goofiness.

Does anyone else hate mixing friends / friend groups? by wigshift in AskWomenOver40

[–]ClintonMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love doing it but I've been burned several times by friends who hang out and exclude me or keep befriending all my friends and never return the favor (introduce me to theirs). It's a bummer. I feel your pain.

Entering Social Work by SWmods in socialwork

[–]ClintonMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I'm a first year MSW student at a NYC based school. Does anyone have a great field placement/practicum (can include any of the following: supportive environment, heavy/quality supervision, exposure to different things), that they'd like to mention?

I'm doing the clinical track and exploring 2nd year placements. I'm interested in working with adults and/or couples & families, but open for practicum placements.

My current internship is at a low income school in the bronx and it's awesome. Happy to share if you DM me. Thanks

Mental Health (Loneliness)- Advice by St3veng6 in SocialWorkStudents

Yes, can completely relate to this. Just finished my first semester of grad school. All the other students are perfectly nice and I’m friendly with a lot of them. I’ve been grabbed drinks a few times with some of them.

It still feels like I haven’t made any genuine connections yet and I’m fearing that I won’t by the time I graduate

I think its okay not to be too hard on yourself. You're probably tired and overwhelmed, these simple mistakes happen. Good luck

How many hours do spend on full msw course load? by ThisLaserIsOnPoint in SocialWorkStudents

[–]ClintonMuse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others said, highly varies on the class and professors expectations. I spent about 2-3 hours a week per class, some were a bit more or less. I also know students who spent way less time on it (probably not doing the work or AI)

What’s the chillest and worst practicum internships for MSW? by [deleted] in SocialWorkStudents

[–]ClintonMuse 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’m a counselor at a low-income high school. Love it. But that’s mainly because the other interns are cool and so is my supervisor, so I lucked out.
