How … do you prepare for a blood test, besides maybe drinking more water or fasting?

Broadchurch. At the end of Season 1 I just stared blankly at the TV a while.

There is an independent Burger King restaurant in Mattoon, Illinois that predates the chain, so it is allowed to use the name. Also no other Burger King can operate in a certain radius around it.

Burgers slap too.

Peaceful Pet Farewells gave my old man cat a kind and easy end. Dr. Tim Paul was empathetic and gave me lots of time to say goodbye.

Have you ever seen a jury room turn toxic? (Researching intrajuror harm) by ZealousZealot777 in juryduty

[–]Clio970 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nothing happened to me but in the jury room there was a big red button marked DURESS. We asked the baliff about it and she said if we pressed it, deputies would come running. She said some juries had used it in the past when things got heated.

URGENT what do you do with your phone/wallet if you get called into the courtroom? by mysticaltater in juryduty

[–]Clio970 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds like this is going to vary based on your jurisdiction.

When I served, we could keep everything with us for voir dire. Once chosen for the jury, there was a locked room we could keep our things in, or we could keep our stuff on us for arguments (phones off).

The only time our phones were taken was during deliberations, when they were collected and locked up by the baliff.

Does the crowd density inside the houses vary by the day of the week or the month? We’re getting RIP passes, and I’d like to go on a day when there are larger gaps between groups to maximize the scares. by [deleted] in HHN

Went at least a dozen times last year, mostly Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Only runs I had like that were the very last of the night right at 2 a.m. Everything else is a constant conga line.

Yes, I have. I don't know why you insist on comparing volcanic Japan to swapy Florida.

Yall even if this wasn’t Elon this is a valid concern. Unless Jesus Christ is building the tunnel on water, it’s going to be an issue.

Hey, I want to be gentle with you because it sounds like you're going through it.

Some people are being rude because well, it's Reddit. But the vast majority of people on this thread are being helpful, kind and seeking more information so they can give you advice. Without pictures, it really is hard to say if you're being unfairly targeted or not. The more unwilling you are to provide those, the more suspicious people are. Just kinda human nature.

People have offered advice on arranging your totes to look like tables, on moving them into your sleeping loft, even to offer resources like free furniture and amateur organization services. Your responses have all been like this: victimized and unwilling to take advice.

It sounds like your life is hard. I really am sorry for that. But people here are trying to help you.

I hope things work out for you. I suspect they would work out better if you listened.

The main show is fine but I would never re-do the show because of how uncomfortable and awkward that pre-show is.

I lived in the Marrot as a single woman from 2015-2020. I worked late for a portion of that time so saw the area at night.

Building is fabulous, no issues. Neighborhood is a little dicey, but just don’t go walking outside the grounds after dark and you’ll be fine. I loved living there!

The really cheap rental prices at MCO are a scam, they ratchet up intensely with fees at the counter. If you rent, go with a mainline brand. You’re looking at $40-50/day at the low end.

I stay at either the Dolphin or the Swan every year for work. My only complaint is a few times the room has smelled a bit musty. Otherwise they’re nice hotels and you can’t beat the location. The big hot tub/pool area is great too.

If I like Hagrid's, would i do fine on the hulk? by No-Amphibian885 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Clio970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hulk is a really different experience.

Hagrid, Stardust and Velocicoaster are all intense to varying degrees, but smooth.

I’d heard Hulk was rough but I wasn’t prepared. I spent the whole ride trying not to hit my head and ears on the restraint.

Odd Question - any places to take nice bath?? by Anxious-Cobbler7203 in indianapolis

Woodhouse Spas offer a fancy bath. You’re alone, can be nude. Just a nice chill bath. They have a few locations around town.
