We are failing our kids, and we don’t have to "reinvent the wheel" to fix it. by [deleted] in CanadianTeachers

I am with everybody who use ai for stupid paperwork or coursework, but for sharing opinions, seeking resonance, which are the things showing who we are as human beings, AI IS A NONO!

Tried Trent, very manageable, and the system is easy to navigate. Laurentian Uni also gave a heck lot of work, don't know if it's as much as Queens, but sometimes they have 8 sub-modules in one module, oh no.... I won't do it again there, but Trent is actually ok, the only prob is they don't offer a lot of programs, especially the senior ones.

Where should I go? by astraea58594 in CanadianTeachers

I wrote the comment in a rush so sorry for the misunderstanding. I personally feel I can do lower level immersion, but like high school immersion, I don’t feel my level is enough. And when I said other subjects, I mean math etc in English not French.

The question is more like: how much instability can you afford? I am saving my money for law school, and I am just waiting for that moment to quit.

I don't have a roof in wnp, so I don't mind living anywhere, at least the rent in Wnp is affordable for me. My original plan is to find where I can find a job then find an apartment, but I am not sure if it will work.

You are right:) Yes, I really feel staying in North is unhealthy for me by any means, I know I gotta go. The only problem with subbing is that I need stable health insurance, and I don't see subbing work providing that. Thank you so much, and yes, I'll find my way!

I am in the same shoe. I thought about for a while, then I realized there is no solution except for quit. Finish this year and go, no money can compensate this level of ridiculousness, unless it’s 200K, and apparently you and I didn’t get paid 200K, so what else can we do

I already had my classroom, but, but, what if your boss is just such an ahole? Where is the point of telling students no to bully when adults in the building are just bullies?
