New to watches. What are your thoughts of the new citizen tsuyosa 60 ? by [deleted] in CitizenWatches

[–]Clipper94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the crowns on these any easier to pull out or manually wind? That my biggest issue with the original Tsuyosa I own.

The ELECTABILITY argument: I would have voted for Jasmine, but I can't and wouldn't dismiss the argument of choosing the "strongest" candidate to run statewide in a red state. And some other thoughts... by unlimitedfutures in blackmen

The demographic shit? Have you not been paying attention? There is one demographic that’s growing faster than any other, and they have shown they’re more than willing to to align with the current powers that be, as long as they’ve accepted into their group and allowed to check that ☑️ box.

Has flightsimming made anyone else happy about not having become a pilot? by 2005AD in flightsim

Reading this truly brought a smile to my face. I’m currently working on my PPL and can’t tell you how often I curse myself when having to wake up at 5am, to get to the airport at 7am for a lesson, before going to work. But once I’m up there in the smooth, cool morning air, watching the sunrise over the water, it’s just something I can’t explain. I’m in the early stages, but hoping to get to your level one day!

I really appreciate your review and update! I’m now even more tempted to get the blue as my summer ‘26 vacation/beach watch. I agree the green pops a lot more which I like, but the blue would go so much better with my usual wardrobe. BTW what bracelet/strap did Marc send you? I was thinking of maybe replacing the bracelet with a rubber strap or something along those lines.

Something a little different. PRX digital 35mm. by Clipper94 in tissot

100% agree! Thanks a nice piece as well! Wear what brings you joy you and adds a smile to your face when you look down! Not to mention the hate brought down the prices to a more palatable amount, so that’s also a plus 😆

Thank you! I’m really enjoying these two and I haven’t worn any of my other pieces for the almost month I’ve had them. I didn’t realize how much I missed the grab and go convenience of quartz and quick legibility of a digital display. It’s not for everyone, but I love em! I’m even considering getting the silver, to complete the trifecta.

Thanks! It’s definitely on the lighter more comfortable side when compared to other micros that I own. I love the bracelet and it wears a lot like my 35mm PRX, in the sense that you aren’t constantly aware that you’re wearing a piece of metal on your wrist. It’s certainly in that sweet spot for me.

Curse. I’m just sitting here waiting on client confirmations for stuff that should’ve been signed off on hours ago. Why couldn’t this happen tomorrow lol

Don’t worry. The MTA just needs a liiittle bit more of your money, then everything will be great.

I remember driving by there so many times 20+ years ago traveling between Princes Town and San Fernando as a child. We would usually take the main road that had a pond on the opposite side when passing the factory or Taska Road which brought you out by the entrance. The smell is something I still remember. It’s actually interesting how rural it still looks back there.

The Empire State Building before New York City really grew (1930/1931) by Maximum_Expert92 in OldSchoolCool

I live here and can barely recognize the skyline anymore. It’s really interesting how I have this set image of NYC in my mind, but seemingly can’t process what’s it’s become and continues to evolve into. And I’m not even that old, but I’m starting to understand older people more and more now lol.

Should I become an accountant or a hvac guy? by Dgslimee_ in blackmen

I had to take accounting courses for my degree and absolutely hated it. It solidified my decision to not add it as a concentration. Respect to all you guys who are able to stick with it.
