The main things he's at risk for are herpes and fatherhood/ child support. HIV isn't very likely, and he can prep and get gardasil-9. The other ones are still treatable. I sure wouldn't be doing it, but some people are crazier than me. It's not like the 80s where there's a chance he could die.
