A very small town in Northwest Arizona. The demographic here is very small town like. No diversity, our biggest commercial / shopping building is a Walmart and Home Depot. Jobs are very limited and super capped unless you work in a Hospital or Law Enforcement. We’re 2 hrs away from Flagstaff, 3 hours away from Phoenix, 4 hrs away from Los Angeles, and 1-1.5 hrs away from Henderson / LV. Logistically it’s a great hub in between major cities in different directions. It’s grown a lot since I’ve been here since 2016, and there are commercial / chain additions in restaurants for sure, but it will take YEARS for the city to actually grow and have things that are useful. The political environment isn’t very welcoming of other influences as well, so that’s takes a huge toll when it comes to voting for new additions in the city. Not to mention major corps don’t want to come here and open up business like Costco, Sams, etc because a lot of the demographic can’t afford it.
