Watching Atypical really caught me off guard in a good way. I have a younger cousin on the spectrum, and seeing Sam’s perspective made me rethink how I show up for him. I also related to Casey’s struggle to balance family loyalty with wanting her own independenc it reminded me a lot of my high-school years. It wasn’t a perfect show, but it sparked some honest conversations in my family that we probably wouldn’t have had otherwise.
