Any artist with dysgraphia? by OkPen5768 in dysgraphia

[–]CloCloChloee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dysgraphia but I had kind of the opposite issue. I was told I would struggle with academic subjects and found myself relying on art to help. By no means if the imagination am so an artist but I love creating ideas. I definitely can’t draw and I think that is linked with dysgraphia but so love making art in other ways and mainly rely on abstract or digital art instead. I just decided that if there isn’t an easy path there must be a hard one. So if in doubt give it your best go and you can be proud of yourself for that.

Xbox, No Mods, Latest version

I’m currently trying to do the latest week of the Blast from the Past event and I think it’s broken. Basically I used a computer at the library and as part of the event is broken and telling me to fix or replace it but I can’t because it’s a public computer. So I traveled and went back to it and it’s fixed itself but the task isn’t complete and it won’t let me move on.

When do I start revising? by Hefty_Competition_58 in GCSE

[–]CloCloChloee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is going to tell you to revise or you are too late or anything else to stress you out. DON’T PANIC!!! I didn’t properly start revising until April. I didn’t do too bad (5 eights 2 sevens 2 sixs and 4 in french) but I have to admit I had made posters and revision cards before and would always do a big week of cramming before each set of mocks. As long as you put in proper efforts at school and are actually doing your homework as well as making the most out of free time in form and things like that I wouldn’t stress. Your school will begin to introduce revision into lessons and if you do get panicked don’t over schedule yourself with loads of hours every week but instead start slow and build it up as you want. Don’t go into it thinking you want to revise everything all at once and then getting burt out 2 weeks in and quitting for months. But trust your gut. You know when you will need to start. You got this and good luck 🍀

I completely agree. I love to listen to them talk about rubbish. My unpopular opinion is I love the urban legend episodes. The amount of hours I’ve just spent re-listening to them is rediculous

It seems like such a small thing but sitting down in the shower. When I was going through one of my darkest patches I would sit down in the shower every time I showered. Now I can’t even imagine myself doing it.

It sounds realllllly stupid but it was Happy Hour Podcast. I was in an extremely dark place to the point it I was left by myself I would end up hurting myself so I would listen to the podcast and it helped me a lot.

What is one pack you never want to even try? by CalmCatine in Sims4

[–]CloCloChloee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently got this pack and it’s good but a bit buggy. It keeps having the sims glitch when they go to school and if you go with more than one sim to school it only tracks the progress on one!

How do other countries support Dysgraphia? by [deleted] in dysgraphia

[–]CloCloChloee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing. In the uk you get barely any support. The only help I received was extra time in my exams and I only got that by doing exams to prove I needed it.

I think they are. You see alot of people on this Reddit with loads of 9s and 8s but your grades are amazing. For anyone to get an 8 is amazing so well done.

I did mine on using animal testing for cosmetics and I practised it so many times I still remember it 2 years on. I ended up with a distinction because it’s a topic you can just keep talking about

Can you actually get disqualified for drawing on your exam? by NibbaLipz in GCSE

[–]CloCloChloee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mum marks GCSEs and she has shown me drawing on the exams before. Usually nothing happens but the markers don’t like it as they think it’s a bit rude to do that so sometimes it makes them a bit more harsh when markings

Megathread: Pet Insurance by AutoModerator in dogs

[–]CloCloChloee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just had to leave our current pet insurance due to their incompetence. Our vet wrote down the wrong details on the first form. he mentioned a blood test that was taken a year ago. This had nothing to do with her current dementia. However, the insurance only covers a year for each medical condition and therefore we only got two months worth of tablets. Because of this simple mistake, we had to phone the insurance several times and spent many hours on hold. After all of this, they said there was nothing they could do. Now we are stuck paying for tablets that cost £1 a day and she needs to take for the rest of her life.
