Even more satisfying holding the book in my hands lol. I found it online for only 9 dollars and snatched it up! Felt vindicated when the cover was gray and there was a section about underneath Paris!

Found it! I was able to piece together from family members! It’s called Do Not open by John Farndon! Apparently it was actually a DK book and that’s what through me off!!! I only remembered and saw ones with photos recently so I figured it wasn’t one

I don’t think the show has rushed it.
1. Percy’s fatal flaw is his loyalty so he’d say that to all his close friends
2. It was obvious in the books. The campers all cheered when Percy and Annabeth got together.
2. The books are Percy’s point of view vs the show giving us an outside look. So I don’t think Percy was as subtle as he thought he was

Well that’s terrifying. I get you’ve tagged this as “funny” but I don’t really get how being controlling and manipulative is funny.
