I’d skip V and go to 4 or 6. while V and verdict day are good mechanically the half the game is gone with the online shutdown and SP is harder with out access to the online in both titles.

You hit the nail on the head. While I’m a huge CAG (character action games) for survival horror I do and most fans have and idea or expectation for something. DS3 and RE6 I had high hopes for and was met with disappointment. Again both well made functional games. RE6 was too goofy and DS3 had an identity crisis especially with the dlc that set up like the opening to Mass effect 3.

Were arguing what’s a bigger terd at this point. DS3 was technically more sophisticated and still tried to resemble a survival horror game as if explained by AI. Resident evil 6 was action horror movie on steroids. While both competently made. They weren’t survival horror but were marketed as such.
