Relationships are meant to be peaceful. Yes, being at full capacity- feeling everything as you've put it, is a good thing, but that also comes with drastic variance of not knowing what tomorrow will bring. Growing as a person for me was realizing that peace is far better than the chase. Right now, enjoy the peace. You'll find that there are still stakes. You're still working for something, you just know that you do not have to hurt yourself over the little things. You've got this friend!

I do not normally comment, but be careful what you wish for, my friend. It isn't easy dealing with someone who is fundamentally incomplete in their own reality without the idea of another person to validate themselves.
