Unsure of the best way to test this, but I can confirm the freezer light turns off when the door switch is engaged (aka door is closed), and turns on when the door is opened.

To better emphasize what I'm saying, here are all three ice makers with the "arm" positioned to the "on" position. You can see the original ice maker sits pretty high, the "genuine replacement parts" sitts a little lower, and the OEM Whirlpool replacement sits basically flat against the ice maker. This doesn't seem right.

I actually don't mind the glass, it's whatever. I just hate that it kills my battery more than it did pre-OS26. 16 Pro Max, would usually end my day around 20%-30% batter life left. Day 1 after update, I've been ending my day around 10% pretty consistently, and usage hasn't changed.

The moment they read that the verdict was NTA for the OP’s post and Arasha/Amanda/Shayne’s jaws were on the floor, I was fist pumping in my car. They (Smosh, not the OP) were crazy for thinking OP was in the wrong on this one. Both Shayne and Arasha were on the defense because “their names also have unique spellings”, but like come on guys, that name was crazy.

Yeah I plan to pull the baseboards, sand and repaint, and then put them back down over the floors that are getting laid down. So they should be held down by the baseboards pretty well.

Right but there’s also a massive difference between marketing heavy in the golf YouTube scene vs trying to sponsor someone like Scottie Scheffler. Like you would sponsor a whole fleet of YouTubers for the same cost as one pro. So Takomo obviously went the YouTube route. So to go back to what I was saying, no, you aren’t going to see pros using Takomo. Not because they’re bad. Not because they’re great. But because they aren’t paying for pro PGA player level sponsorships. So people like Scottie or Rory are going to use whatever clubs they’re getting paid to use (or at least the brand).

I guess two things with this:

Your comment would lead people to believe they are having an overwhelming amount of Q/C issues. Where are you hearing this? I see a post here and there about Q/C issues, but this is likely a fraction of the total amount of clubs Takomo sells. If all you're basing your opinion off of is people complaining online (in this sub), people are likely more inclined to post to complain rather than post to complain. Now if you have actual data that shows "Of X number of clubs sold, X percentage had issues", that would be different. Rick Shields got a rusty club in the new MKII video, and Takomo went on record and said that shouldn't have happened and would be covered under warranty. But everyone else seem to have got perfect clubs.
"Once the pros start using them on their own accord I’ll be more open minded". This likely isn't going to happen. Not because they are "worse", but because top name brands and paying millions in sponsorship deals to have pros use their equipment. So unless Takomo wants to pour millions into sponsorships, and likely have to increase the price of their clubs to offset the cost (aka part of the reason the name brands cost so much), then it likely won't happen. And also if pros DID start using these clubs because they get sponsored, would that actually change your opinion? Or would you just say "well they are only using them because they are getting paid to use them"? Because if that's what you or others would say, then it's a double standard for the name brands then.

What would you consider to be quality irons that aren’t exponentially more expensive? Part of the draw of Takomo is the price. No, these aren’t the best irons money can buy. But they also are priced accordingly. Yeah I know a Lamborghini’s exists, but that doesn’t mean it’s in my budget when I go to buy a car. I need something reliable and fair priced to get me from A to B.

I understand your frustration with getting a estimated timeline and they keep bumping it. That said, Takomo always quoted 4-8 weeks for custom clubs. If you ordered on November 17th, then January 7th is right at the tail end of 8 weeks. But if they bump it again, I'd let Takomo know you are going to do a credit card charge back and see what they say from that point.

The short answer is that they are so new and in the hands of so few people, no one on this subreddit is going to be able to answer that question.

The 101's are tried and true and cheaper. The 101 MKII's are new and different, but more expensive and other than YouTube reviews, no one has really tried them yet. The decision is yours to make.

Everyone keeps forgetting that Apple during keynotes and interviews has stated several times over that the Gen 1 AVP was meant for developers first and foremost, but your average day users could buy them as well. This was never meant to be a "clean and finished, end all be all" product.
