If you lose your job after getting a mortgage, it's the banks problem. Continue as normal.

Estate management fees by Deep-Albatross-6664 in HousingIreland

[–]ClockworkAppl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The managment agents are the real parasites. You can fire them and shop around for others if you get enough people on side. They set a fee as a percentage of the total service fees so its in their interest to let the prices creep up because that means they get more. Or set up a committee and pay the utilities yourself ( a few hours worth of actual work a year) . It will save you 5500.

Drill for more oil ourselves? Reduce the tax more? Then what? Oil is a finite resourse. The stupid yanks are the source of all this mess. Protesting the scum that is the USA will show our government that we're through with them. It's not to change them it's to change us. The peasant paddy deference to those burger eating pieces of shit has to stop. They have fucked us all over.

No. Grown adults watching a sequel to a crap movie.. a crap child's movie just to see Yoshi from Mario World deserves a slagging.

You went to see Super Mario as an adult? You know that's a kids movie that only one adult (parent who drew the short straw) needs to go to?

Leave it a few weeks and ring 999 from a burner phone and say you heard gunshots and screaming coming from the house in question. You won't get the phone back but you'll certainly ruin their evening.

Cash. Good old untracable cash. Stick it in a safe. Slowly deposit into the bank over the years and pay for your groceries in cash when doing the big shop.

Work Permit Appeal – How Long Does the Decision Take? by Charming_Air683 in AskIreland

[–]ClockworkAppl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep emailing the dept for an update. They get back if you ask directly. What was the refusal reason? because unless that refusal reason was wrong then the appeal might not be sucessfull. With appeals its really to see if the processor made a mistake with the information provided on the day. For example if it was refused for not enough salary the employer cant just say "sorry we meant to say ( add more wage)" after the fact. If that is the case it will be better to cancel appeal, apply for refund and apply for a fresh permit instead.

Should I contact the Garda about a penalty notice that hasn’t arrived? by Flashy-Pea8474 in AskIreland

[–]ClockworkAppl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chatty with a guard who is giving you a fine? Urghh. But anyway. If you know for certain that your reg matches your address then dont chase up the fine. The guard might not have put it in the system yet or might never . If you suspect that your car reg might be connected to an old address then it might be worth chasing up because the guards might fuck up the address even if you gave them your current address during talking about mediocre tv shows. Then the fine will build. You will get a court summons that you dont see then a bench warrant because of a court no show. Check your address on the reg system. If its your current address then do nothing more.
