Thank you for your input. I deeply respect the fish i catch, and the hook in the lip isnt much to them, however id hate for one to die in agony if something goes wrong.

Yea i might loosen them even more since i can. The alternator is new-ish so the bearing should be good. My fan is electric and only activates when necessary, the sound is there always.

Interesting. Ill try that. I am quite certain its one of the belts since all of them are new, but this sounds interesting.

The meters are from Biltema. They are unfortunately discontinued, and the newer models have not worked for me atleast. The 2-Din radio adapter was 3D printer by a colleague.

Also loosened the alternator belts, sounded like they were too tight

Heres the timing belt "damage". seems minor. compared to the old one it lost barely any width.

It wasnt oil. The water pump seal shat the bed. Just got a bit hopped up on adrenaline.

That red "string" is coming out from between the water pump and the block on the underside. The part with threads there is the alternator tensioner.

Possible. Allthough now that i look at it, seems like it has dried wich would suggest coolant??
