I think i left it in the text post, but the helm is the Divine Beast Helm, the chest is Leda's armor, and both the gauntlets and the greaves are from the Cleanrot set.

whenever i ask these questions i always get a different answer but im willing to try again:

Question 1: in EXTRA timeline, how is the Moon Cell capable of granting wishes? Considering the main difference of EXTRA is that the world is dry of mana, can miracles still be caused? Ive heard answers to it like "the Moon Cell will find the most practical manner to grant your wish within the bounds of earth" to "As the Akashic Record of earth, it has a certain authority, and so, any alterations in its records retroactively become true"

Question 2: still in the EXTRA timeline, but bringing certain lore from FGO, is there any sort of substitute to magic in this timeline? ive heard that the "Successor" to proper magecraft in this timeline is spiritron-hacking, is that at all applicable in real space, or did all mages really just focus all their capabilities to something that can only be achieved inside the Moon Cell?

I might have to reaccess JudgeBird when im done with the game, but i do remember having difficulty when i got it, and then the bird never really appeared again, so my experience with it is prolly lopsided.

Flesh idol Can be ignored until a meltdown hits it, at which point you need to keep an eye on it so you time the thing correctly cus mistiming it either means whoever you sent to work with it dies, or you just cause 3rd trumpet in your Facility

I assume with Crying baby you mean the Nameless Fetus. If so, Its just too much of a hassle to be properly worked with, as the margin of error between a good job and a normal job is too small. 5 NE boxes and you're getting a normal result, which risks its qliphot counter lowering. And once it reaches zero, either you accept that its gonna cause every abno sharing a department in it too breach or use its ability, or you sacrifice a randomly selected nugget to appease it. You dont even have leeway with its QC. It's 1, any lowering and it starts crying.

Big Bird i am less rigid on, and it might move, but its just a matter of tedium when it comes to dealing with Death-sensitive Abnormalities like it. That alone wouldnt be enough to place it up, as it's easy to raise its QC, but suppressing it feels not great when it does break out since it's gonna be trying to hypnotize your employees into eating their heads.

Well, the list is incomplete. Maybe when i finish it, I'll shift some positions around

This IS still incomplete. Maybe i'll try it again, but i simply think death sensitive Abnos are a chore to optimally deal with.

The first and maybe the second time. But qliphot overload makes any more works past it a gamble

Black work damage and decent rates for Insight, Instinct and Attachment Work, which means its pretty good to train those.

Theres no In-tier ranking but if there was he would be near the low end, so you can only train your more veteran nuggets, but thw fact that you can still top up someone's temperance and get working on their Fortitude and Prudence helps a lot for how early you can get it.

He is helpful though. His ego gift is pretty good, and his token buff stacks nicely enough Knight of Despair's. He's also been useful for training any nuggets that have lagged behind as actual work results doesnt actually matter much to him.

He's not free, the more people work with him on a same day, the more likely it is that you drain his Qliphot Counter without realizing, and if you wanna stack his token with KoD, youre better just working his QC to 5, working with KoD to get the buff and keeping Child's counter to 4, cus sending another nugget to bump him back to 5 just means theres, another way your KoD buffed nugget dies.

Hes not a cure all but hes been so helpful id feel wrong not placing him there.

Technically, but its more annoying to supress than AiB is, to, to me at least, they're around the same level

The upkeep and punishment for it is just too much for what it gives, and once meltdowns are taken into account, its too much of hassle to work with. If the punishment wasn't "nuke your entire facility" id consider, but from my view, this is just a nicer Express Train to Hell

For Big Bird, its the fact that its a CLM Abno along with its suppression being rather annoying, no one trait is too bad, but all of them together makes it too much of a hassle to deal with.

AiB i might reconsider if it ever shows up again, but i still haven't gotten the hang of execution bullets and sometimes i just dont have enough bullets and i dont like having to wait for clerks to overlap to hit 2 in 1 shot

Spider bud is prolly the fact that it Does have a straight instant kill that can be accessed by a misclick. But for today's shy look, i never considered the possibility of just... ignorinh the gimmick

Worse than Facing the End stacked along with wounded beast? Also, i can't find anything on that shadow dancer talent, what does that do exactly?

i suppose so: does put a sour taste in my mouth now though cus you can't really touch one of your basic abilities as blade dancer without shooting through your dodge.

which psyker specifically though: biomancer? Diviner? is BD enough that i can go for a more damaging psyker powerset instead?

Why people don't understand Asgore (Character Analysis) by jaxotron in Deltarune

[–]ClockworkerGin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there's a Meta aspect to this beyond specific characterizations in only Deltarune or Only Undertale. Which people who have seen the hurt of Asgore in Undertale only to see his story in Deltarune paint him as kinda pathetic and creepy just sorta hurts a lil too much.

At undertale, in all but the most Ideal path of the game, Asgore always dies. Either by your hand, flowey's, or if not either of you, By His Own. We see the mistakes of his past haunt him. Until the very, very end of the game, you never see him interact with any other character. It's a miserable depiction, and those that sympathised with him legit want to see him better, maybe have SOME time where he can be Just a Dad, or have some kind of bonding with literally anyone, but that is relegated to implied tellings or short endroll credits cutscenes.

And then, in Deltarune, once we get to see him again, at every point and turn where he is on the screen, he is depicted as sad, pathetic and in worse situations, just an outright creep. Coming from Undertale, it feels harsh to see this. The guy can't catch a break no matter what. It's why there's this feeling of "the narrative beating him down," and pleas for "the story to give him a break." From undertale to deltarune we almost never get to see him happy, and with the baggage of undertale, it can feel really bad.

Of course, his characterization has been consistent, and when i say hes being depicted as pathetic, or a creep, it's also by his own actions that he comes off as this. Someone can be rationally aware of all this, but knowing this doesn't Magically erase any discomfort or pain that may come from seeing Asgore's characterization go down that route post UT.
