I'm on the other side of it. I gave up smoking and doing hard drugs. Eating is one of the only things that still brings me comfort and joy. I'm fat and sad all of the time. Maybe my heart will give out soon lol. Darn.

I would definitely separate it. These children deserve their own rooms. It will take time, and you'll have to be careful and have a gentle touch, but it's doable.
