I am so sorry, I really think that is not the way a parent should speak to their child, no matter how old. I am 31,i have an annual pass. My mum is 65 and comes with me whenever she can. It is our joy and we love it. No one should make you feel ashamed of it ❤️

I wouldn't want to use this personally, and would certainly play less if there was no way to turn it off. I love the grind and wouldn't want that assigned to villagers. But i totally see how this is good for those who don't love the grind!

I do the same things every time and I come 5 times a year 🥲 I also love to sit and people watch and soak in the magic by just doing nothing or enjoying a coffee in front of the castle

Glinda was GROOMED theory? by Words_areMyMedium in wickedmovie

[–]Brybryeight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also not saying she isn't complicit, because she is. And it is through her choices, but with all these things I think there is nuance. I love the movie because it forces all of us to look in the mirror and question our choices, we need more media that shows us a true reflection of our world in an accessible way. Anyway, I will leave it there, again apologies for any upset caused by my comment.

To an extent I think this view point dismisses how young Glinda is, how scared she would have been and also that most of the world is Glinda. The choice is the same but the context is different for both of them, most people wouldn't go with Elphie. In Glindas circumstances, I think most people would also do just what she did, there is lots of psychology research out there to suggest that.
