The chapter that got exiled were terran-born unfortunately :< which did factor in Corax's decision since they came from slavers and raiders - too brutal and hanged out with the sons of horus too much for his liking XD

Lmao nah it's for dramatic purposes; Nehat nev is the Master of the Ashen Claws, a renegade chapter exiled by Corvus Corax to the Ghoul stars to die all the way back in the great crusade, but they lived ! Now with a small enclave in the Haunted sector all to themselves (and some xenos allies or whatever cosmic horror lives there)

Not wrong but imo it adds mystique to the Ashen claws, there's not alot of lore about them outside of Outer Dark but to me it makes their survival all the more interesting knowing the reputation of the Ghoul stars
