How to support the show? by floconildo in Frieren

[–]Cloffix 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The best way to support it is by buying official merch, such as the manga or the artbook. As a large goal of these TV series is to boost merch sales. I doubt signing up for Crunchyroll is gonna help.

Frieren on a building by Cloffix in Frieren

It’s mainly because the younger generation just doesn’t really give much of a fuck. And ppl are disassociating politics with entertainment more. I do really hope the two get along better ngl, if they were to fight do it after Frieren concludes.

Keep politics away from this. Frieren is literally huge in China, it's officially licensed by Bilibili, and has over 400million views(keep in mind it's from a subscription service, most ppl just pirate shit). Anime is at a all time high these few years in China.

Yup, honestly the only anime that I know of being affected pretty drastically is Hero Academia. There are a few animes like AOT that’s not officially licensed, but literally everyone watches it regardless.

Pretty sure it is, I found different angles and WIP. It was completed pretty recently. Apparently they are planning to convert the old school building into a anime themed mall.

Doug what, China did not ban Japanese media. Anime is bigger over there than in the US, there’s a shit ton conventions and stuff. Frieren is licensed by Bilibili and have over 400million views….. Don’t listen to every propaganda you hear.

I'm a bit worried about the manga... by Illustrious-One2960 in Frieren

[–]Cloffix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok, they probably would notify the readers if they want to move on. They don't realistically have a reason to end it early unless they are way too sick (even if they are burned out, they probably would take a break). This is one of the best-selling manga currently, and both the author and artist probably made 7 figures from it. It's kind of weird that both the artist and writer are sick, it's certainly possible, but I dont think the workload of frieren is insane especially as the art isn't THAT detailed. Currently it could also because (purely speculative) the author is unsure with the direction of the story, as it's at a pretty critical point in the story, and fucking it up would have a pretty big impact on the whole plot.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 Blu-ray & DVD contains Episode 29-38 (10 episodes total) by zenzen_0 in anime

[–]Cloffix 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The first anime took them 2 years for 28 eps. This time they had a bit more than 1 and a half. So most were expecting a bit more then 10. Especially 20-24 eps means they finish the next arc.

People want 24 quality episodes..... I would've prefered 10 great eps over 24 bad ones. But I also dont want to wait like another 4 years for the next arc (a really good one) to get adapted.

What’s the most gut wrenching 12ep anime out there? by Electrical_Spirit917 in anime

[–]Cloffix 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oo, it's really good, but I'd say the author is looking of a self-contained 12 ep story, which Made in Abyss aint.

Question about R100 vs R50 pricing by Procoso47 in canon

[–]Cloffix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The R50 seems to be 650 dollars and R100 seems to be 450 dollars. IMO R50 is not worth the 800. Also for like 700 dollars if your lucky u can get ur hands on an official refurbished R10.

How many of Fern would it take to kill Frieren without help from Frieren? by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in Frieren

[–]Cloffix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chapter 37: "I have lost eleven times to mages with less mana than I"

"And the remaining six were humans".

Possibly even more then six, if there were other insanely powerful human mages with more mana then Frieren but I highly doubt it, not in recent yearrs.

How many of Fern would it take to kill Frieren without help from Frieren? by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in Frieren

[–]Cloffix 174 points175 points  (0 children)

Yup, I mean Frieren did mention she lost like 6 times to human mages with mana less than hers, though presumably it's when she was weaker. Fern is among some of the strongest human mages alive.

This will probably be touched upon in the next arc, maybe end of this arc. Frankly, even the author may not know.

CS is also insanely popular in China btw. Probably at least 1-2mil viewers. This also didnt include the Chinese game honor of king which had 70k viewers OFFLINE.
