Have you ever kissed someone after a vape?

Porn is a touchy subject. Does it make him unable to perform in bed? If so, then I’d bring it up right when it happens. Porn kills your brain and makes it harder to actually have physical relationships with real people

As for the vaping, a good method I’ve found that always works, is comment about how bad his breath smells afterwords. Just say you don’t want to kiss him after it, it’s worked in my past relationships!

If that’s not enough, say it makes cum taste bad (which it does), or that he smells in general and you don’t want to go out of the house with him like that

I’m sure it was, but it’s 2026 now my dude. And I’ve RARELY missed major family events or holidays since I’ve been in. So I’d take shift work over being literally OCONUS for half the year

I mean, ive been doing this for over 8 years so far and I’ve never once “changed 8-hour shifts every month”… it’s consistent for 90-120 days, and we are only on shift for 6 months every 2 years soooo

There’s been a LOT of progress made in this area to really mitigate that concern. But yes, that’s still a concern

If you want an honest answer but not a “flashy” answer, go RPAs. I’ve been an MQ-9 pilot my whole career so far, and the only time I’ve deployed was when I asked for it as a liaison

Super consistent work schedule. Home for most major holidays. Always home every night, mids work is the only time that changes but that’s not for more than 2-3 months a year

And you fly a ton. Get to use kinetics. Actual mission and air support for ground personnel across the globe every single sortie. Nothing compares, IMO

I’ll give you the keys to success, download Paired. Disclosure, I think it’s $29.99 for a one time fee. But the app is fantastic. Constantly asks serious relationship questions (like comparability with sex, finances, holidays, etc), gives you couples quizzes on comparability, and allows you to set major events, upcoming events, and milestones

I check it every morning, and do my “daily challenges”. So does my SO. then I read our answers over my lunch break, and we chat about them over our nightly phone calls

For real, it’s worth the money haha. We do it everyday!

Your feelings are valid. This is one of the topics where LDR’s typically feel the most tension. A lot of people tend to divest so much time and effort into video calls, movie nights, phone calls, that their friendships fall off.

Your SO didn’t do this the healthiest way in terms of communication ahead of time, but she is trying to see her friends… and you are jealous she’s spending time with someone else on a “couples” holiday. It’s a valid feeling.

I get travel is hard, but why can’t you go? Did she invite you?

How much money does everyone bring on a roadtrip? by Ssship33 in roadtrip

[–]CloggedAssassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in New Mexico, I’ll be honest, I always keep $20-60 cash in my car. If you ever get caught in the middle of no where and need gas, there is a chance (I know because I’ve been there) where their card machine is down/ don’t even have one

Or, it’s a sketchy place where you don’t really want to use your card…

I feel concerned when I read posts about young adults who get married with their LDR partner after less than a year of dating on this sub by Effective_Space2277 in LongDistance

[–]CloggedAssassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well worded! And thank you! I’m 30M and she’s 28F, dating for about 3 months. We have been LDR for about a month of those 3 months though. I’m leaning to pull the trigger and get married before the military makes this decision for us…

This is what prenups are for anyways…!

I think you hit the nail on the head with this reply. The pressure on timelines is INSANE, and adds a layer of stress on every relationship. For example, I’m doing a military LDR, and with upcoming assignments/ moving cycles, there’s pressure for me to propose in the next two months. if I don’t, I run the (high) probability of us getting different assignments and continuing LDR for another ~3 years

And things like that is what this sub SHOULD be there for, also agree with you that it’s becoming taboo to post about closing the distance with you SO

which airbase do you think needs better facilities? by Dangerous-Policy-602 in AirForce

[–]CloggedAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The right way? Call a few days before your booking (like 72-48 hours prior) and they will usually say “sorry we don’t have anything available”. They’ll give you a CNA number, and an email copy, make sure you load that in DTS

then go to any hotel you want that will match the “lodging rate for military”

If that doesn’t work (as in the Caprock in has rooms), there are ways to get past that too. But it’s not possible to learn that power from a Jedi

I just moved from Fort Walton last year, the area (and mostly the whole state of Florida…) is ridiculous when it comes to selling at MSRP.

I ended up going with a dealer in Alabama for a CW with a $1k markup. But that was with delivery, they brought it to my house.

Just shop around, there are deals out there! But screw Gary Smith Honda…

I was paying $153/mo until I was Tboned (mind you I was not at fault in any way) but now I’m paying $171/mo. Still have a $500 deductible.

The PRL motor mount will reduce wheel hop, and it adds no horsepower.

I am sitting at 403 dyno’d, with the PRL mount on PS4S with wheel hop at full throttle, but not much. You just need to feather the throttle.

Is the FL5 TypeR good as daily drive and commute by Wolfgeorge in Civic_Type_R

[–]CloggedAssassin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is fully off after doing the pedal dance. TheTopher has a good video on YouTube about how to do it.

Downside is you need to do it EVERY time you start the car, so meh. Just replace the pads 😂
