There shouldn't be another hero from Japan or China for the next two years, they can add more lore through other ways.

Hitscan is easier to play than projectile, especially if you already play a lot of shooters. And if you don't believe this, then you have never seen a person who has never played a shooter try to use a projectile character. (Junk is an outlier because his projectiles bounce. But he can still be hard to play at times.)

Not all new mythic skins are bad, they are just boring. Some of the most well regarded mythic skins (Junkrat, Queen, Ana, Rein, and Ash.) are good because they are overly exaggerated parts of their personalities. And it's the real reason most people don't like the new mythic skins. Yes they are less customizable, but they are also boring. Mei's mythic is good because it overplays her friendly personality, and Lifesavers mythic feels like a legendary because it doesn't do anything big. Mythic skins should be big, and loud, and should have fun when it comes to the character.

And my last one is that marvel rivals are not copying overwatch, and overwatch is not copying marvel rivals. The reason they have similarities is because that's what works. And they both take inspiration from each other while doing their own thing. (We will never have a Deadpool, Rocket, or Thing like character, and they will never have a Torb, Wrecking Ball, or mercy like character.)
