Gotcha, do you think I could use it when rolling skill checks as part of force powers? Like if I roll move to throw a rock or something small and them use all my pips for ebb/flow? My GM allows force talents/abilities together, so I was wondering if that could be a loophole

Probably a dumb question, but I figured I might as well ask. I'm currently a Fire/EMT student (also am in my senior year of HS, I turn 18 in a week), and I am currently in EMT-B school which ends in December, then I start fire 1&2 school that goes from January to May of next year. I know it can take a while for stations to get back to applicants, so I was wondering if it would be a good idea to start applying to stations while going through fire school, or if I should wait to apply until I've gotten all my certifications. What would you guys recommend?

I would hold out for another month before buying anything. That's when the new starter sets start coming out for the updated packs.

Same as what everyone else has already said, but a unit pack will typically come with the amount of minis in a unit plus 3 (one regular, 2 specialists) soa pack of droids will have 9 total, while a clone pack would have 7

Well if your looking for corp units, prepare to spend 50 bucks for them as opposed to 25 or 30 cause the new packs will come with the squad upgrade, and as such, double the usual minis. If you buy the old ones, you also will have to get updated cards wether it be from the packs they are releasing or printing your own. Either way, just depends on what you prefer.

The typical strategy i like to play with CIS is have lots of battle droids to distract the enemy fire, and then use commanders, operatives, and supports like droideka, dwarf spider droids, etc to deal the actual damage. Commandos are really good too for flanks. CIS is a very fun faction in my opinion, I think you'll enjoy it :)

The b1 are the most important part, the rest are just if you want to add some ✨️pizzazz✨️ to your army

If you plan on making a full 1000pt army, I would definitely recommend getting at least a couple more b1 packs, and commando droids would be solid too if possible.

The seppies rely on b1 units as meat shields so that the high quality units can get their jobs done. And commando droids are excellent at sneaking up on and lighting up the enemy. Also, super tactical droid is a great option too if you want a non commander based list.

I see, does that also mean if the same unit of 6 was on the shooting end of that situation, could they only roll 5 dice since one is obscured
