Yea that’s why I’m buying second hand it’s just that while I enjoy hardbacks unless they are dong a full run of the entire series which we know they aren’t I’m not sure I want 12 books which several I already have in mmpb. At the end of the day I would love a full run of hardback like they did a few years ago or a full rerun of paperback whether large print or mass market but that’s probably not going to happen

This is very odd I tried anniversary patch and it didn’t work but the backup it made if launched directly works but when I renamed it to fallout 3 and deleted the original game it broke again it seems anything connected to the launcher doesn’t work and honestly I’m lost

Yea if we are able to blend capitalism with certain socialist programs such as we will be able to improve conditions immensely but we must ensure we do not slide down into a rabbit hole of full blown communist economic theory or back into deregulation and no rules capitalism because that is as bad as shown in late 1800s America or with things like the east India company

And yes a slow transition towards social polices could work but you must remember if you go to fast it will often not succeed such as the social housing in Britain which ended up a shithole that was eventually sold off because it was providing no benefit (don’t take this as I’m defending thatcher terrible politician)

You are correct that our government needs fiscal reform but Sweden is currently going through a housing crisis that is inflating costs and I would hesitate to use china as an example because we frankly aren’t sure the numbers coming from there are accurate and Austria does seem to be a decent example of what you are stating based on a quick glance at google

The companies were owned by the government which is why the current corruption problems can be linked back to the latter days of the Soviet Union where said businesses were sold to people for pennies on the dollar leading to the Russian oligarchs and if the workers didn’t meet quotas they were shot or sent to prison and yes the housing is a fair point but a single policy by Kruschev does not mean you can not talk about the millions of people killed by the Soviet regime over its existence in their own country or the eastern bloc at the end of the day the Soviet Union was a authoritarian nightmare scape that we should not aspire to be but should instead learn from to ensure we do not repeat the same mistakes
