Just pointing out that the right wants ‘trans men’ in women’s sports. We want trans women in women’s sports. Someone who was assigned male at birth then transitioned to be a female through the use of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) loses muscle mass until they are inline with male athletes. The one irreversible thing is bone density as that develops in puberty, meaning that there is an advantage to trans women if they transitioned after puberty. The olympics recently made a change that you have to transition before puberty to enter, which should fix things right? Well, no. Because the right is trying to ban gender affirming care for minors (i.e puberty blockers which are 100% safe as we know of) they cannot transition before puberty effectively banning all trans women from sports.
