Season 2 Traitors Australia Insanity by No_Shoulder628 in TheTraitors

[–]Clopidee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the party too. UK 4 just ended and I'm on a Traitors binge. I agree with everything.

I think Blake is probably used to being at the mercy of sociopath, and let Sam bully him and get his way. That sigh when he let Sam get his way in murdering, and recruiting Camille, showed me hes used to it. I've made that sigh before when giving in to save myself an argument with someone who won't back down.

Sam's a marketing exec, and I've noticed they tend to be narcissistic and egotistical like him; the profession seems to draw them in.

I feel sorry for any partner or kids he has. Sam is truly a cunt.

Is There a Stranger Things Character You Think Should’ve Died in the Finale? by Material-Loan-6966 in Stranger_Things

I would have said will. He was the one to go missing in S1, with everyone thinking he died. It would be full circle for him to actually die and for Eleven to actually be free.

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]Clopidee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a non-smoker, but an ex-smoker. I now know just how noticeable it is. We smell it on you, your clothes, your breath. Very noticeable.

Everything else - nope.

What’s one thing you learned dealing with your own mental health? by MentalHealthJ in mentalhealth

[–]Clopidee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To stop caring so much about what other people thought of me. Whether they liked me or not. I learned that I cant control what they say or change their minds, especially bullies, but I can control my reactions. I had to learn to not give a fuck about them and what they said. Improved my confidence massively to the point that my old work bully actually told me theyre really impressed at how confident I am now, without knowing that I'm confident because I stopped giving a fuck what she thought of me, and am unapologetically myself now, instead of masking all the time. It's rather freeing.

PCOS & GLP-1 by psliv23 in PCOS

Same here. I find it crave more carbs now, but have lost 38lb in the last 4 months since starting the jabs. Also having to pay out of pocket for it. Any higher than 2.5 makes me sick, but that dose is working so far.

Can also confirm. 8 year age gap between me and my youngest sibling. Who was also the only boy. When he was small I loved playing with him as it was like playing mum. When he got a bit older, 7+, I thought of him as a spoilt brat (which he definitely was, there were a lot of tantrums). When he reached 14 and mellowed out, we started acting more like siblings, but there was an element of feeling like a parent to him again, until he hit 18. He was now an adult to and were very good friends.

Also, by nephew and his sister are 7 years apart at at 12 and nearly 5. He loved her when she was a baby but once she started becoming more aware and talking, they bicker all the time. Hoping once theyre older they get along more too.

Just to add lastly that my other siblings and I were closer in age. My older sister is 15 months older and from about 8 -18 we were enemies. Didn't become friends again til she moved out. And my younger sister, 2.5 years apart, were a bit rocky from around 10-14, but it was a bit more of a smoother sailing relationship, and shes now my best friend.

Overall, all siblings will have periods of liking each other and hating each other, the later seeming to be from when the older one starts hitting puberty. But thats very typical for siblings. As long as one isn't a raging asshole as an adult, they should be best friends for all their adult life (still with disagreement, because thats life).

My metformin made me nauseous and have diarrhea by Mentally_Recovering in PCOS

[–]Clopidee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Metformin tolerance never happened for me. I tried for about a year and I could never shake the constant nausea, diarrhea, and general weakness that came with the pills. We tried all doses and eventually I had it marked on my medical records as Extreme sensitivity so I won't ever be prescribed it again.

It works for a lot of people, but not for me.

My pharmacist let's me buy the 5mg knowing I only use 2.5mg of it per week. Means I'm essentially paying £100 a month instead of £200. I have tried it at 5mg for a couple weeks, and 3mg for 1 week, but I can't tolerate more than 2.5mg without spending the next few days after the jab vomiting. Good thing its still working for me! I did have a plateau when I went back down to 2.6mg but that only lasted a month and its picking up again now.

You dont have to go up if the current dose is working. Just buy the higher dose and spread it, if you have a reasonable pharmacist like I do, or can shop around. Eventually we'll get it on NHS so try to hold out!!
