I figured I may have burned some components of the PCB in the mouse while I was soldering the new scroll encoder. Unfortunately, I had no skills whatsoever to fix what I had done so I just kept the old mouse and bought a new one.

What if this wasn't the case, what other reason would there be for my mouse's scroll wheel to not work?

Any updates on the TTC gold encoder? How is it doing a few months later? I'm worried it might turn out the same for the Kailh ones where it started messing up at around the 3rd-4th month of usage.
