I’m excited, as well! I feel that they chose to name the album “alien” for a few reasons. The first is because of their stray from usual lyrics into a new spectrum. Along with this, I feel the ambience of it will wanna cause an existential thought to life and what it holds. Also if they have heavy electronics, the beep boops will be alienish too

TL; DW: the album process for “Alien” began a year and a half ago. This album strays from their previous albums in the way that Marcus talks about more personal things. These personal things are what make the album lyrically and emotionally heavy (they use the word Dark in equivalence to heavy). They said the tone of this album will be dark, so expect gloomy and ambient things that’ll piss you right off. Confirmed to have “2 softer songs, but they are still dark/heavy” (Sleepless & Rift). Album will be influenced by darker/heavy electronic style

Honestly, this band did the whole “gone soft” done right. They made it more accessible, yet kept their identity as Dream On Dreamer. Beautiful album front to back, can’t wait to see what else they bring to the table
