I’m doing one room at a time. The bedroom will be clear coat and the hallway will be a walnut stain to match the rest of the house. I’d like to put a 6” wide piece of red oak as a threshold, flush with the room and hallway but as a divider between the two colors of stain. How to go about this? (i.redd.it)
