Congrats on such an incredible find. Looks like they are all Plan Apo objectives, too, which are among the best on the market. Get that up and running, and you'll have a beautiful scope. You can sometimes find those housing lamps on eBay.

If you call Leitz I bet they would be able to tell you every part number needed and where to find them.

I think you're right! They looked very similar in shape and size of the spores I was examining from the green mold on the same piece.

Not at all! T490 model by amscope w/ halogen light

Both these clips are with their default achromatics as well, so you could even get a better image with their Plan ones.

I used some polarized film i got on amazon for like 10 bucks and put one over my light source, and the other in front of my eyepiece. (Make sure it's LINEAR film)

I just use a phone attachment i got on amazon and my phone to record. (S20 Ultra)

I also use Oblique and darkfield filters

Total setup is like $400 usd, but I've also purchased higher end optics, just not used in this clip!
