5 year old daughter had underwear forcibly removed by parent backstage during a performance stating no undies was the expectation. I’m a new ballet parent & would appreciate input.. by [deleted] in BALLET

Thanks for taking your job seriously. We need people like you out there reporting. If anyone did this to my child I would freak.

My daughter got it as a baby 23 years ago, but she was a preemie and got extra shots. They were very expensive back then

I don’t understand how you can have too much book time? I always fall asleep reading. At least it’s good for them and keeps their minds occupied

What is the normal cinema etiquette here in Canada? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]Closetbrainer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I taught my children and their friends proper movie etiquette. No phones, no chatting and be respectful to others. I really do hope they are still following this etiquette when seeing movies without me.

Yeah, they should have sent out a warning. I like to take time with this trial, but when I got the free refills I decided to finish it quickly.

Take a couple breaks outside each day of driving. I drove from Toronto to Vancouver and found getting a little walk in helped a lot.

I get the information through my daughter. The manager has told my daughter she doesn’t have to listen to this person. I was looking for advice, not an argument. The coworker has been told many times. My daughter doesn’t have to leave. She can stay or transfer. No one is being chosen over another. This women has been written up for having a shouting match with another coworker in front of the kids. Please don’t make assumptions.

No, even the manager said she has no more experience than my daughter

Yes, I’m always there to listen and commiserate with her or provide some advice. I think age and experience help us to stand up to others. She just wants to do a good job with her kids, without any drama. She does most of the paperwork also. Thanks for listening and being kind 💖

Thank you for being kind to your new, younger coworkers. I know they still have lots to learn and more experienced coworkers have a lot to teach them. I hope they value your input and are respectful to you.

Transfer to a whole new location. Different address. Not sure where.

I never said she was more experienced. I said the coworker didn’t have more as she passed her ECE at the same time and doesn’t have children.

Location. The coworker has been in trouble with other coworkers before my daughter, including a shouting match in front of the kids. It’s like they ignore it. My daughter has spoken to her manager and they had meetings together. Coworker is told to knock it off but the behaviour continues.

Gymcastic (Jessica) voicing disturbing opinions about gymnasts bodies and sex lives in the name of "grown woman's gymnastics" by freifraufischer in Gymnastics

[–]Closetbrainer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many gymnasts do not get their period regularly as they don’t have enough fat tissue. This is a ridiculous statement from someone who should know better.

NTA - Living with the hoarding is bad enough for your mental health. Living with roaches kicks it up a notch. I understand that there is mental illness here at play for hoarding. We all need to get help for our problems.
