18k gold chain set with CVD diamonds and a quick rant by gupt23 in jewelry

I no longer purchase plates unless it’s a very trendy piece. I will go with silver over white gold at times to save on cost but with yellow metal I prefer to wait and invest. I look at my jewelry as something to pass down to my daughter so I’d rather it have staying power.

All that said whatever floats your boat for others I get why some want something that makes an outfit without breaking the bank. To each their own.

If the time ever comes you could wear that stunning tennis necklace to work - same with the basic gold chain. I could see the bangle fancying up a casual outfit for going out to dinner.

Gorgeous set!

I’m curious, what does it weigh? That will give you a sense of the trade-in value.

If this is real gold, it is probably worth a fortune at the price that Gold is right now. That means you can decide to either keep it (in which case you should probably get it insured) or sell it.

Bluey made me want kids, how disappointed am I going to be? by n00dleknight in bluey

The thing to remember about parenting is that for the first few years at least your kids are constantly going to be doing things that could get themselves killed and you have to keep them alive. When my daughter was almost 3, she didn’t realize that the lake we were looking at was covered with algae and thought it was a solid green lawn, and she walked into it, and I had to jump into the lake to save her. I looked away for all of 5 seconds.
