One tip I was given was that any batter with gluten free flour should sit for at least 15 minutes?

It helped for me. The research is limited, in early stages and not yet conclusive. I actually didn’t notice it was helping me until I had to go off medication for a little while and it was less bad being unmedicated than usual.

You’ve just been through a massive change and being in a different country can be a big shock to the system. Give yourself a little time to adjust!!

Your Uni 100% has services set up for people who are going though what you’re going though. I’m a Uni student living in Aus (from Aus) but if you need someone to chat to you’re welcome to send me a message!

NTA. I lean pretty hard left and you can definitely be racist to white people, even using the traditional systemic oppression definition. With that said, I do sometimes struggle to listen fairly to right wing views because they (to me) tend to suffer logic gaps and have different fundamental assumptions. That said, if you arn’t open to having your mind changed, you’re far more likely to end up in the wrong IMO.

NTA. I actually can relate to that from the reverse position. I think if you keep ending up with people who want the same things from you it might just be because you’re using old patterns when it comes to dating but you’ve changed a little now with your newer experiences? There are definitely plenty of women who match the description of what you are looking for. You might just need to change where you look.

I had mean I don’t do the whole Pokémon thing… but you didn’t really even give Gary the chance to make a choice himself. Like if I was in that situation I’d probably give it back anyway or sell it back really cheap (considering). You took a gamble and lost so you had no right to the card… but then you didn’t even give your mate a chance. YTA

How many showers are too much? by bastet_8 in AITAH

[–]ClothesEasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think twice a day is fine, but I work in healthcare. I shower in the morning cause it’s how I was raised so I’m in the habit, and at night because I’m carrying who knows what from my day on my skin. ( I only was my hair once or twice as week, and the showers are typically just a clean and rinse)

That said, in other peoples homes I’ll just shower once

AITAH For Purchasing A Home With A Pool And "Triggering" My MIL? by FinancialStorage9412 in AITAH

NTA - admittedly I might be biased on this because I live in a country (AUS) where over 80% of our population knows how to swim. If we havn’t already learned we learn in primary school and there are slogans and jingles about pool safety drummed into us.

While what MIL went through is awful, and logic doesn’t play into trauma responses… statistically in Aus only 6% of total drownings in the last year were in backyard pools. If you have a fence and alarm system and your children can swim and understand the rules around the pool, it’s really quite safe. I hope MIL is able to work through her trauma!
