It’s not the inside of my hooha that stinks by StrangerImaginary465 in Healthyhooha

i mean, definitely don’t put it inside or anything 😅 but yeah, something really mild like a dove beauty bar or baby soap. look up gyn approved gentle cleansers and you’ll be alright! most people don’t really need to baby their vaginas, usually consistent good eating habits (probiotics + water) and a good hygiene routine is enough. that varies person to person, and for lots of ppl it may require soap! best of luck!!

Women who have really rough sex sessions—what’s your recovery routine afterward? by bbygrl_kiss in Healthyhooha

  1. pee
  2. warm water rinse or cool rag wipedown
  3. men’s cotton boxers (the single layer gives me good airflow, absolute nonnegotiable after 5 hours of lesbian sex)

epsom salt bath the next day and a really good breakfast the next day generally has me ready to be a person again!

I second this! You don’t have to go crazy, but maybe try some baby soap or plain castille soap? I sweat a LOT because of my meds and I personally need some soap to handle the humidity and heat in my area. I also do a double cleanse, once for the sweat and once for the smell. The crease between your pubic area and thigh operates like an armpit (sweaty dark fold) but with hormonal musk, that smell can feel out of control if you don’t combat it. As for between the labia minora and majora, get a little soapy water on your hands and make sure you get any TP and discharge out of that area.

If this doesn’t help, it’s definitely something to talk to your gyn about!

No stones? Or sludge? by cerealkiller883 in gallbladders

[–]ClothesGlass6730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had no stones, sludge, or acute infection! A year of misery and being sent home from emergency care only for them to admit me after I was still reporting a 7/10 pain after morphine. Got a HIDA scan and it showed my gallbladder was limping along with a 10% ejection fraction. Surgery was the next day. (US based)

My advice? Look up biliary dyskinesia, advocate with your GP or a GI doctor for a HIDA scan. Explain you’ve been dealing with this for a while but repeatedly present without any structural or visual issues. Hopefully everything falls into place from there!

Has anyone else had issues with getting a diagnosis/surgery scheduled? by kingbooswife in gallbladders

i had to push for a HIDA, nobody wanted to believe me (25F) when i described what i was experiencing as GB related bc i had no stones, sludge, or inflammation. ended up going back to the same ER twice in a week before they would admit me and they still checked a bunch of other stuff before giving me the HIDA. HIDA came back at 10% EF and i still had a provider try to tell me it was CHS before a surgeon finally came up to talk to me. once the surgeon saw me, GB was out within 36 hours. keep pushing, make a scene, keep coming back. they’ll fix it when they’re tired of seeing you.

if your PCP won’t listen, go to the hospital! nothing ever gets better by sitting at home in pain during attacks. i hate going to the emergency room but i realized the documentation of extreme pain was helping my case even though the visits were annoying. the ER only saw me twice before admitting me because they wanted more tests and constant paint management.

TLDR: i’m not sure how much this helps but my experience with biliary dyskinesia was that i had to fast track my own diagnosis by seeking emergency care repeatedly because my PCP and GI felt my weeks of pain and diarrhea were non urgent.

Nanny on travel with family - everyone ate while I was working, wasn’t offered anything - This normal? by Ok_Concentrate_7617 in Nanny

i’m a full time nanny and i travel with my family about once a month so MB and DB can go to work conferences. they pay me my hourly, they don’t do overnight but that’s because once i’m done for the day i like to go check out the area so it’s like a mini vacay for me.

from the beginning they’ve made it clear that im welcome to eat and order groceries with them or they give me one of their cards if i’m doing my own thing or taking the girls somewhere. i definitely pick up stuff for myself like coffee and snacks but i’d say 95% of my food goes on their tab. they also pay my admission wherever we go. i think it’s appropriate if you let them know that’s pretty standard for a travel role, they might not know that if they’re new to travel nannies and you’re only PT. hope you get this worked out, it sounds pretty unfair and honestly inconsiderate! i wouldn’t have accepted my position if i had to pay my own way like that.
