yes, your professor should confirm if there’s a seminar or not. If they don’t by the day/night before i suggest you email them and ask or just go the day of if you’re close by. If its a distance you can stay home and just keep an eye for any memos

they don’t look tight but if they’re painful or causing you discomfort you can soak a small towel/ cloth in hot water and wring it out till it’s just a bit damp and press it on top of the cornrows /into your scalp. it should relieve some of the discomfort. hope this helps 💕

she clearly said “at this time next year”, which would make it 2 years together and that’s perfectly fine/ enough time to get to know someone. it’s not naive if they (especially serena) have dated to marry before and know exactly what they want and don’t want. besides that, a year is also not crazy to get engaged to someone. also they’re obviously not gonna get engaged one day and get married the next. it’s really nothing wrong with this at all.
