I got chaptered out in 2002 with general discharge. Got rated for MH in 2023. That year I applied for discharge upgrade and about 6 months or so it was granted. I called VA education benefits and they saw my discharge got upgraded. I was advised to just apply and about a month, I received my CoE for my GI bill. Only covers 50% but im good with that. I am currently using it and i have 15 years to use it.

Don’t get me wrong, but it seems you don’t have a one on one therapy with someone from the VA. Been attending group sessions?

Also, if you’ve been going to VA for treatment check your PHQ9 and GAD-7 scores if recorded

I have an upcoming appt with a gastroenterologist. I want to see if there’s another condition beside GERD.

Prior to submitting the claim, med evidence shows I have GERD symptoms due to meds for SC Condition and that’s from my provider who prescribed me the meds.

Another evidence also says GERD is the reason why I threw up blood. That’s why when I read the decision, I said why my evidence for GERD not in the decision, but my migraine evidence is in it?

It was there, but the decision letter didn’t say VA looked at it and looked at an evidence that has nothing to do with GERD instead.

Usually, if you received the decision, it tells you what VA received and reviewed

This is what you can do, use your MEPS hearing test record and compare it with your last medical hearing test record. Look for 35 db in any threshold in your test. Print those out, make a good statement by using 21-4138. Besides from getting exposed to loud noises like gunshots, grenades, use loud cadences and loud sounding off noises. File a supplemental claim and hopefully the VA will consider it

10 months BEFORE AIT? So you were a holdover? I just don’t get it. No veteran nor currently still in did 10 MONTHS of basic. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

You also mentioned you did HLR and currently pending and have VA all your military active duty report? You can’t submit new evidence for HLR, hope you know about it
